History Plans for the Week of February 4-8, 2008

Monday:  Journal; students will complete an outline analyzing the creation of the Roman Empire- Chapter 8 Lesson 2;  4th-  present podcasts-  NO HWTuesday:  Students will discuss the influence of Greek culture on the Romans. Chapter 8 lesson 2. Complete an activity on telescoping timelines. NO HWWednesday:  TCAP Writing Assessment;  1st & 2nd- Guidance; complete an activity on Roman Roads  NO HWThursday:  1st, 3rd, & 4th- Discuss aspects of Roman architecture. Students will create an aqueduct. Chapter 8 Lesson 2  2nd- Spanish;  HW:  Journal due tomorrowFriday: Students will work on a Study Island assignment; 3rd & 4th- Guidance;  Chapter 8 test will be Tuesday of next week
