Monday: I will go over the expectations for the journal and the journal topic. Students will complete a globe project in class. (6.3.1) Graded papers will be handed back today. NO HW
Tuesday: Students will identify the the basic components on a world map (6.3.1) using the classroom set of globes. NO HW
Wednesday: 1st and 2nd periods will have a 30 minute guidance class. Review for test. Introduction to classroom atlases. HW: Study for test
Thursday: Students will take a test over the continents and oceans. Students will complete introductory atlas activity. HW: Journal #1 due tomorrow.
Friday: Students will compare information using different types of maps. HW: You will need a set (30) of 3×5 index cards for a project that we will begin next week.
